Alberto has over 11 years of video compression engineering and product development experience. His past tenures include Director of Software and Algorithms at Anafocus, a private fabless semiconductor company in Seville, Spain focused on the vision and video market, Advanced Projects Director and Video Team Manager at PRODYS, a video compression company in Madrid, Spain, where he developed one of the first commercial MPEG-4 video codecs, Senior Research Engineer and Project Leader at Tandberg TV in the UK, where he participated in the MPEG-4 standardization process and in the development of the industry's first MPEG-2 High Definition video codec. Alberto earned a BSEE and MSEE from the Technical University Madrid, Spain, with specialization in audio and video.
