Farhad Mighani, Vice President, Engineering

Farhad has over 20 years of engineering and management experience in SoC, computer architecture and wireless and wireline network processor architecture design. As a founding member of several Silicon Valley startups, he has successfully delivered products for residential broadband, multi-media, meshed wireless access networks, DSL, enterprise networks, ATM, storage, security and high availability systems. His past tenures include VP of Engineering at eXS, where he defined and developed multi-radio, multi-band outdoor WiFi units, VP of Engineering at Zytera Systems, a developer of storage and networking SoCs, VP of Engineering at CALY Networks, where he was a founding member and responsible for CALY’s IC and architecture design and definition, Founder of Synthcom, a developer of networking CPE products, product manager at Intel for over five years. He holds several patents and has authored a number of publications in the area of networking and communications. Farhad holds a BS, MS and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
